Wow, I really should use this blog more often from now on.
I wanted to let you all know that I guest-wrote a special chapter of the popular fanfic Only Human: A Lyra Heartstrings Production. You can see the chapter I wrote here. Just a forewarning, it is on the "sad" end of the spectrum of what I write, but I really love how it turned out. I actually think it's one of the best short pieces I've ever written for anything period.
If you've never read Only Human before, I urge you to do so. It's a very fun story. The first couple chapters are a tad rough and there is one specific running gag that sometimes seems overdone, but those minor complaints aside, it's a great premise with some surprisingly deep characters that manages not to retread the same territory a lot of other Lyra and Bon-Bon fics do.
If you get the chance, definitely check out Only Human: A Lyra Heartstrings Production, as well as the chapter I wrote. I'm really proud of how it turned out. :)
Also, just wanted to let you all know, I have a new fanfic in the works as well, so look forward to that soon too. It's not another season of the Vinyl Scratch Tapes, but it is another comedy (with some drama and slice-of-life thrown in), so if you like the style of that story, I think you'll like what I have in store for you guys.
