So my camping trip went very well. I grew a beard. I'll probably shave it soon, as school starts next week, and I got a big load there. Now, a word on my various stories. Some good news, some not-so-good news.
Chapter 30 of The Book of Friendship is finished, so I plan to publish that sometime next week. I've also started on chapter 31.
I've done some work on The Least Of Us, though it may still be a while before chapter 3 is up. Might be a long while, because I have too many friggin' stories.
Symphonics is... problematic. I think the "anthology" idea isn't much of a worker, so I'll probably be removing "Classical Crossover" and "Scherzo" and reposting them as their own stories if I can get the ball rolling. Probably not until I finish "What I Did For Love," which I should hopefully proceed on this week.
Macintosh Must Marry I've been working on the third chapter, and that should be up by the end of this week. I'm hoping in the near future to go back and make some edits and changes. I feel the story doesn't really have much of a "hook" or a reason to care and is largely just coasting by on its premise, which isn't enough alone to carry a multi-part story.
TCB: Ballad of the White Rose is... well, I'm not really sure where I'm going with that. I haven't had quite the drive on that I had when I started. I'll resume it at some point, but it's a problem when I'm not even completely sure what I'm getting at with it. I've gone through a number of ideas in my head and scrapped some major plot outlines completely (one of them involved what largely amounts to a Marty Stu HLF member getting center stage for large swaths, ew), so I'm going back with my ideas and trying to decide how best to proceed.
On the brighter side, I'm almost finished with a new one-shot. It's titled I Have a Hat, and it's a crossover. Well, less a crossover and more a blatant rip-off, but I'll be very impressed if anyone recognizes it (apart from the people I've told already).
