Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed the end of What is a Name? I know there were a few of you out there who weren't huge fans of how I ended the story, but as we're all aware, it's impossible to please everyone.
I have several stories planned for the future, but as it turns out, I'll be leaving for my first year of college in less than three weeks. Because of this, I'd rather not get involved in any big writing projects until I'm settled in and have become adjusted to my new, independent life. This may take a number of weeks after I move in.
However, in the meantime I'd love to write some one-shot stories. I see this as an opportunity to entertain my current followers (you guys), accumulate some new followers before I begin other projects, and to satisfy my own enjoyment for writing.
Here's my predicament: I have literally no ideas!
Seriously, not a single good one-shot story idea comes to mind. If any of you have a particular concept you've wanted to see in written form, let me know! I'm thinking either comedy or sad, though preferably comedy out of the two (can you guess why?). However, I'm still open to other things, as long as it doesn't have clop or gore (a little bit of blood doesn't count as gore). Also, I'm not a huge fan of shipping, personally.
Anyway, hit up the comment section (or send a PM if you prefer) if you've got any one-shot suggestions that you'd like to see me bring to life in a story, or at least attempt to.

One/all of the Mane 6 go to Canterlot or wherever there are a lot of ponies who don't know them and inadvertently demonstrate how amazing they are. Everypony that sees it is in awe of them or whatever and the Mane 6 don't notice or think that they did anything particularly special (or notice them being impressed but think it's about something else which is more mundane).
Like, Twilight casually teleports (and does other really impressive magic) around like it's no big deal in front of some vaguely condescending noble-ponies.
Rainbow accidentally outflies some Wonderbolts (and doesn't know/notice it).
Fluttershy treats a giant super-deadly monster thing like it's a little puppy while everyone else looks on terrified.
Pinkie Pie does basically anything with her...Pinkieness.
Someone mentions that they had to convince the dragon to stay at home because 'it would be too dangerous for him' when he wanted to help with their latest adventure.
ect.
ect.
Basically, the whole thing with the Mane 6 not getting recognized all over Equestria as being essentially superheros who have crazy skills annoys me, so I've wanted to see a fic for awhile where everyone is in awe of stuff that the Mane 6 can do that they tend to do without noticing that they are crazy good at it.
The part where the Mane 6 don't notice is because I think it would be funnier that way.
In some kind of freak alianment of circumstances Rainbow Dash does a trick that writes a magic circle in clouds, the circle mixed with her weather powers summons a mischievous creature (Maybe a baby draconequis) that alters reality around dash to cause hilarity.
Fluttershy decides to try and improve herself by mimicking her friends, needless to say this confuses those around her and causes some awkward moments.
Rarity gets an order for an outfit from a pan-dimensional tentacle monster. Follow her mind as she frantically tries to make a suit in time before Equestria is destroyed. *Spoiler* It turns out to be female
While twilight is rummaging around in the cupboard looking for a snack as spike goes to get groceries, she unknowingly eats one of spikes leftover "Baked bads" The resulting illness causes her magic to go all wonkey for a few days, lets watch as normal everyday tasks and emergency solutions go awry due to the unexpected side effects of her spells.
Big Mac has a secret. He isn't really a pony, He doesn't even know why these "pony" things call him family but he'd never complain, they saved him. The farm is a lot better than where he came from and He was about to die there anyway. *Spoiler* The joke is he was originally a Big Mac sandwich from Mcdonald's and was about to be eaten
That's all I got off the top of my head right now.
Atlas Rove is a (insert pony type here) and an avid adventurer! He (or she) is always traveling to see new sights, explore new places and...
Is currently extremely EXTREMELY bored.
Rove is Slumped over in the front of a food shack located at the border of a pony settlement (like applelossa but greener and with hills) and griffon territory (marked by steep and jagged mountains) Rove is working at this shack because his funds ran out when he/she arrived here and this was the only place around to work. Owned by a Griffon, has a griffon coworker who is a hothead. Food shack serves vegetarian food for ponies and vegetarian meat that is very close to the real deal for griffons and adventurous ponies.
rove how I saw him/her is friendly, resourceful and hard working but also can be a bit short tempered and bored easily.
But if you want to pick up this idea just pm me and I will be happy to let you have free reign on the character and the concept and environment!

Haha, I know some have already made stories with this theme...but I want to see how you could do it in a one shot or perhaps make it longer...if Rainbow failed her Sonic Rainboom and lost the race and not help the Mane 6 earn their cutie marks...
And if you get like hate pms or comments that could say you ripped the idea from other writers, you can put all the blame on me...I don't mind, just want to see how you would write a one-shot or possibly an entire story with that idea
