I've experienced a similar occurrence with youtube a few times. Refreshing the page fixes it.
Meh it's not a major problem unless your advertisements on the side start coming right in the middle of your screen.
Also windows XP... 
I thought you'd be a window 7 at least (pretty well everyone hates windows 8)

XP serves its purpose, and it runs basically any program I need it to. I'll probably wait until I'm in college to upgrade, but even then I may stick with what I got. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, amirite?
