The cover came out very nice
The concern I had about grayscale art on a cream paper was unfounded. It looks pretty darned awesome.
I had a tiny concern also that images would 'bleed' through and obscure text on the final page of a chapter. I was wrong again!
I'm pretty stoked about this. It's a really nice, solid piece of work...

Proof approval has been sent it. Supposedly, I get my books shipped 10 days (business days) after they start the run. Hopefully I'll get the books in time for BC, otherwise I'll have to mail more stuff @_@.

I'm really hoping they get here in time. The Forth really screwed my timing. They took 2 days off, rendering what should have been 14 days into 17. Those extra three days might be the diff between getting them to my house and taking to con (I'm so hoping to get my copy VA-signed) and having to mail out extras later.

Adobe Garamond. It's very, very close to the Garamond that ships with OSX (I think it's a stock font. Might be one of the zillion programs I've installed). I very much like the old-style serifs.

Then this makes a second question. Will the extras ONLY be available to attendee's of BronyCon? I am unable to go to the convention. Also, my next paycheck is the 24th of July, and that would be the soonest I could throw you the payment. Well, if I can extend the order (i have no idea if I can) I'd just do that and timing would not matter as much, as I'd take the number of "plz books" and get at least that many. I got 4 extra this time around because I was willing to risk the money to maybe sell some. If I can extend the order, I'll take you at your word and +1 for you. Having 3 or 4 copies unclaimed is not a huge issue now.
If I can't, well, it's first come, first serve. I would be open for a second print run, but need at least, um, I think 20 books to make it economical. A single book is, for instance, $150 or so. Getting 10 drops it something like $40/ea. (not including shipping, foil stamping, or dust jacket) The website is down right now (yay, confidence increased), but It was something similar to that.

This is the advanced proof copy. If all goes well, I'll have the books before BC. I probably. Any ship them until after, but I will do it ASAP after i get back a d email tracking codes.

Right now, That's the sticker price for BC. It *is* USD, but it doesn't really include shipping. I may revise my opinions as the response for "missed the pre-order" is a hell of a lot larger than I thought it would be. My original price was set so I didn't have to sell all my extras to still be able to pay for some of my con expenses.

hey, if you think you may do a second run. can you write a certified original run on the books, say in the backish or so bottom right? just so all of us have bragging rights to the first order. numbering them may be unfair (ex. 1/50) but mint orig. 50. saying one of first 50 or so. something. (haven't looked in how the notation of such first runs is actually done, just asking this question is all)
