Wow, thanks everyone! · 12:21am Jul 7th, 2013
Thank you everyone that Favorited "The Unluckiest, Lucky Colt in Equestria"! I can't believe that it is featured, but I'm not complaining either. I know the story isn't perfect and there are some parts that I wish I could re-write or add onto, but seeing that so many people enjoyed it makes me feel a whole lot better. Trust me, I was nervous about submitting this.
Now I wasn't originally planning on doing sequels or continuing with stories on Lucky (and possibly Roseluck), but due to so many people asking for something I very well might consider it. I have a lot of requests to put Lucky in the Guard and I feel that would make some good drama. As of right now I do not know if I will continue it, but enough people have said something so we shall see. I also might do a sort-of prequel to when Lucky Clover was growing up in less-prosperous, pre-lottery conditions to add to his character and give him some more reason as to why he despises his luck so much- mainly focus on his relationship with his father. But again, these are mere possibilities rather than anything concrete so don't get your hopes up yet. I have some non-pony writing and "My Brother, the Storyteller" still to work on.
Anyways, once again, thank you everyone that faved the story. You are awesome!
And enjoy this ponified version of my new favorite sitcom that I found on DeviantArt.

Well, whatever you decide to do, lookin' forward to it!
Also, Big Bang Theory ftw.
I come back after a crazy five days and check FiMfiction. I see a story in the feature box that looks pretty cool. I then check my massive stack of notifications, and find said story is by you.
Congrats, man! I'll slap that atop my to-read list, but it looks like you really hit this out of the park. Was this an original pony story, or were you inspired by a movie?
Also, bit of a tip when it comes to extending something based on fan demand. Only do it if you have a strong vision of where to take the story, and knowledge that you can do that vision justice with your writing. To make a film analogy, you want to write The Empire Strikes Back, not The Santa Clause III. A strong vision is the cornerstone to developing a great universe, we see that evidenced in MLP too!

Original, for the most part. I thought I may have seen something like it before (either here or in some other form of literature/TV/movies) but I can't recall exactly from where. I usually get inspiration from somewhere, though. It isn't quite as air-tight as I wished, but I'm happy people seem to have enjoyed reading it. Hopefully you will too
Also I sort of have an idea as to what I want to do but right now I have to flesh out the possible story direction a little more. I'm working on a quick one-shot centered on Lucky Clover when he was still a blank-flank that is meant to explain his desire to earn what he gets (you'll get that once you read the story).
