Here's a really interesting fact about sloths and how they arrange their toilet time: whenever they need to go, they will laboriously climb from the branches to the base of the tree and deliberately dump their load onto a communal midden, which acts as a bulletin board for the local sloth population enabling them to assess, for instance, the condition of females during certain seasons.
