I know I said I would make a video, but Windows Movie Maker annoyed the fuck out of me, so I gave up. I fucking hate the new version they've got - I prefer the old Windows XP version. The new one is just too much hassle.

I can't really say, to be honest. If I've got 40 stories up by the time Season 4 comes out that'll be great. If not, it's not the end of the world.
Are you hyped for season 4/Equestria Girls?
I'm looking forward to Season Four, as it will give me some new canon to work with. As for Equestria Girls... it can rot for all I care. I won't be giving it the time of day, any new canon be damned!
Also, I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain? Coming down, on a sunny day.

Probably not.
Would it bother you if I make an alternate universe story, placing my OC's into the Geoverse?
I would be honoured! I've always said that people are free to write their own Geoverse stories. Crimson Star was actually the first person to do this, and Vetnern was the second. If they did it, then you can too!
Besides A Season of Adventure, how are your other story notes organized?
They're not.
Generally I make up stuff as I go along (something I'm surprisingly good at, as it happens). But if I do get an idea I'll make a note of it in a Notepad document. A Season Of Adventure and A Season Of Terror are the only two stories to have properly organised notes.

Where did you get the idea of Dr. Ace Sorou? He is one of my favorite characters in the series, and I'm just curious how he came to be.
Ace Sorou isn't one of my characters. He was created by Crimson Star, my co-writer for pretty much every Geoverse story since To Love Is Human. I sent your question to him, and he answered with the following:
Ace was created by me after I came to Geo to help write To Love is Human. I decided to base Ace off of myself, for starters. Then I took my interest and knowledge of mechanics and multiplied it several times over. I threw in a desire to be like my favorite mad scientists, added a few quirky habits, and presto! Ace was born.
A funny story about the origin of Ace's name: I remembered a while back this old commercial for Dunk-a-roos. Ace was already my nickname, and I needed a last name for him. So I decided to replace the word "Dunk" with "Ace" in the jingle.

what inspired you 2 become a writer
As much as it pains me to admit this... it was the /mlp/ board over at 4chan. I was lurking there one day when I came across the Anonymous in Equestria thread. I read a few stories and liked what I saw, so I decided to have a go. And lo, To Friend Is Human was born. That's right, it started out as a greentext story. But then I discovered Fimfiction and decided to turn it into a proper story.
I'm glad I did, because Fimfiction allowed me to reach a larger audience!

Your first three questions were about Ace, so once again I asked Crimson Star to answer them. I answered your fourth question, though.
so.... Ace is basically a young version of doctor Robotnic and doctor Willey fused together?
I drew a shit-ton of inspiration from my two favorite video games as a kid when I made Dr. Sorou. Dr. Robotnik has always been an awesome villain to me. Dr. Wily wasn't that much of a villain compared to Robotnik, but I loved the designs for his bots. I always felt the best villains were mad scientists, which is why I decided to make Ace a villain. I took what I liked best about both Robotnik and Wily, and fused them into the scientist Ace became. I originally intended to keep him as the hero, but I figured he's had enough character development, so I decided that season 4 needed a villain. Ace isn't supposed to be a villain, but I think the coming story will make that all too apparent.

I can't answer that without giving you spoilers about the story Geo and I are working on. But I will tell you that Ace isn't thinking quite clearly right now. Even when he was in service of Princess Celestia, he was quite willing to take hostages, kidnap others, and fake injury to put his opponent off guard. Ace doesn't believe in a fair fight, and always fights dirty.

Ah yes, the clopfic I wrote for your story... it was quite a pain to write, as when it comes to clop you can't use the same thing over and over. Hence why I wrote about things I've never even explored in my own clop.
