Entry 2: Jubilee · 12:38am Apr 6th, 2013
Every body has a favorite pony.
Usually, it's some member of the Mane six.
Sometimes it's a background character, like Doctor Whooves, Derpy, Lyra, Bon-bon, or the like.
Somtimes it's a villain, even though like Discord and Chrysalis, they aren't even what you could call ponies.
Rarely is it a pony who appears once and never again.
So, who is my 'BEST PONY'?
The answer may surprise some of you; I believe the Best Pony award goes to Cherry Jubilee.
Why Cherry Jubilee?
Glad you asked.
For those of you who have read all of my stories, you know that I’m a fan of the diabolical mastermind character. In My Little Pony, there’s basically Discord, and possibly King Sombra. And that’s it, as far as intelligent villains go. But I believe that, behind them all, Cherry Jubilee is running things behind the scenes. She’s playing a game of chess with Celestia beyond mortal comprehension, and Celestia won’t even know she’s playing until it’s too late.
My evidence?
As follows.
In her introductory episode, Applejack lies. Applejack is the element of honesty… AND SHE LIES! What could make Applejack lie, other than a cunning and ruthless pony manipulating her behind the scenes.
I highly doubt that Applejack didn’t deserve at least one blue medal from that rodeo. Isn’t it convenient for Jubilee that one of the Elements of Harmony happened to lose every single competition, and then somehow managed to be convinced her family would be ashamed of her if she came back?
I propose that Cherry Jubilee’s Special Talent is ‘cherry-picking’. Which is to say, cherry picking the best plan out of hundreds to put into action, or cherry picking the best ponies to be friends with. Some may say that her cutie mark is just an extension of her cherry farm.
That’s just what she wants you to think.
When she found her Special Talent, she conquered the entire cherry market just to hide what her true special talent is.
Need more proof? The episode after Applejack leaves her employ, Applejack almost loses her farm. The plan is perfect; flawless. The plan would have won, and Applejack would have been ruined had she not come crawling back to Jubilee… but the plan failed. Because the two ponies in charge of the plan were so overconfident that they invited ‘all of Canterlot’ to help A.J., and then they panic and lose the competition via messing with the machine.
Tell me, do you think those two honestly thought up the plan to take over Sweet Apple Acres by themselves?
No, Jubilee was the true mastermind.
Do you think it’s a coincidence that Rainbow Dash was put in the hospital the episode after that?
Maybe she got what she wanted. Maybe Applejack, a contender for the role of ‘smartest pony in the mane six’ by my reckoning, managed to foil Jubilee’s plot. Whatever the case, Jubilee seems to lose interest with them after that.
But she’s not above petty vengeance.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of the mane six eat a cherry past her episode, have you?
I think there’s only one reason why a street vendor would charge an Element of Harmony twenty bits for a cherry.
They’re under orders from Jubilee.
Any pony who sells a cherry to an Element of Harmony, better wring them for all they’ve got.
This is the Cherry Jubilee that will feature in all of my stories. Except in Scootaloo’s Chaotic Family, which features Discord being cunning enough that we don’t need Jubilee in the mix.
This is why Jubilee is the best pony.
My God.
I love you

It really just seemed obvious to me.
Every Villain Is Cherries...
...doesn't quite have the same acronym
LeeJubiay?
yes.
Every Villain Is LeeJubiay
It is perfect E.V.I.L.
