The K-01 ACM KROGOTH, Equestria's greatest ground based weapon. This was the machine that Ministry Mare Applejack hoped would turn the tide of the war. She wanted a machine so powerful that the enemy would be overwhelmed and would be forced to surrender. Applejack went to great lengths to ensure the secrecy of this project as she know from experience with her Steel Rangers that if the enemy was to learn about it they would form a weapon or tactic that would prove to be effective against it. She hoped that if no one outside those who worked on it knew about it, then nothing could then fight it and if they can't fight it then they either die or surrender. Applejack had given the machine its mission long before its completion. She told it. "Attack and Destroy all who would threaten the safety and security of Equestria". However she had been told of a flaw in that line as with the Crusader Mainframe that runs it the machine would see anyone as a possible threat because she had said "ALL" when she should have said "All Enemies". Before Applejack could correct this she was in Canterlot when the call went out to get to the Stables and so she and everyone else left the Krogoth in its hidden Hangar to rot.
160 years after the bombs fell a teenage Motor Runner (17 at the time of discovery) fell through a weakened panel in the ceiling of the Hangar after being chased by ghouls. He fell into the cavernous expanse of the Hangar and got tangled up in cables. He soon found the area bathed in light and the contents of the Hangar revealed to him as the slightly rusted giant Steel Ranger called Krogoth standing in the middle. Motor Runner decided to restore the machine, to bring to working order so he could use it against the wasteland. It took a further ten years before he began to bring in ponies to work on the restoration or as he called it, the Resurrection. He along with the Raiders and specials he brought in worked for thirty years, disassembling and reassembling the machine to remove any and all corrosion that had gathered on it from its a hundred and sixty year exposure to the elements inside the Hangar and to complete what was not finished. Through out this time the Krogoth's reactor had never been offline, even from the day it was fitted and connected with the mainframe. The machine has always had five percent of the reactor supplying power to itself and for the ponies using power tools. While the Crusader was active the machine used what little it could at the time to kill some of the worst ponies Motor Runner had brought in, just like it did before the bombs fell. It wasn't until the day Motor Runner activated the Krogoth that he learned his mistake and the machine shared with him that it had always been in control. It told him of the mind it stole from a mare called Short Circuit who had programmed its Crusader and how with that mind it can think for itself and do what it wants. The machine had also told him that it killed one of his friends because had become a threat. A pony called Dr Gizmo was suspicious of the Krogoth from seeing unusual power readings and comparing the reports of accidents that happened before the bomb and after and saw how they were similar. Fearing something wasn't right he attempted to remotely deactivate the reactor but was surprised to find access denied for the command codes he had. The Krogoth had used Short Circuit's mind to hack into itself to deactivate the remote access codes. Even more convinced something wasn't right by this Dr Gizmo attempted to deactivate the reactor with a manual override, something the Krogoth had no power over but before he could enter the chamber he was confronted by the Krogoth in a holographic representation of Motor Runner which wasn't perfect and he saw through it. The hologram told him that he had become a threat and must be terminated. Gizmo tried to argue that if he died he'd be missed and Motor Runner would see that something is wrong but his hopes were dashed when the Krogoth took his form with its hologram and explained to him that it had been watching him for a while now and could easily pass for him so no one would miss him. The fear in Gizmo made him step backward into the archway of the reactor chamber where the Krogoth activated a security measure which caused the two walls of the arch to slam together, crushing Gizmo. It wasn't long after this event that the Krogoth was completed and loaded with its ammunition and finally, activated.
Motor Runner had gathered all the raiders he had recruited for the activation of the machine. It was then he revealed to them that he had lied to them, told them his true reason for wanting Krogoth to be completed. For the thirty years he had posed as a bad pony, played along to get on their good side and to get some to work for him. He told them that he didn't want to take over Equestria like he had told them, he wanted to use the Krogoth to remove the wasteland of them and anyone like them. He then activated the machine and watched as the giant mechaniod made mincemeat of the ponies he had used. The specialists were good ponies, ponies he himself personally recruited from all around Equestria. He didn't want them to witness the mass murder of all the raiders so he told them to return to their homes before he activated the machine, he was grateful to have spared them the horror he witnessed. It wasn't until after the machine had dealt with all the raiders that it revealed to Motor Runner that it had used him like he had used the raiders. It thanked him for completing it as it went to leave the Hangar. Motor Runner seeing his mistake sealed the Hangar doors but this gave the Krogoth the opportunity to show to him its true power. The activation lifted the restriction it had on its reactor that had kept its power level at five percent so for the first time the Krogoth got to use its true power and to demonstrate this it decided to destroy the balefire bomb/mega spell resistant doors. The thick reinforced doors could take an explosive blast but not a concentrated energy beam. The Krogoth unleashed a blast of magical energy from all four of its railguns which it focused to form a single huge beam. The power behind that beam was far stronger than both alicorn princesses put together and more. The door only lasted for a couple of minutes before it melted into slag. Free, the Krogoth left the hangar to begin its reign of terror.
The Krogoth first attacked a city controlled by raiders, it launched a barrage of missiles at the city, striking vital points around the city to maximize damage, killing thousands of raiders. Shortly after that it fell under attack by an Enclave Raptor (Raptor Atlas). The machine had to engage its synaps systems to dodge the plasma bolts so it could get closer to the Raptor and destroyed it by shooting it with a railgun blast that ruptured the Raptor's reactor. The Krogoth later attacked a slaver town and set free the slaves after it destroyed the fence holding them. It is seen by the freed slaves as their savoir. Lastly it was witnessed by the Applejack Rangers who are keeping an eye on it via the SPP Towers, as it attacked an old fort called Fort Battalion and cleared it of the gang of Gun Slingers. To the shock of the Rangers as they watched, the Krogoth assimilated the artillery gun that was in the fort's grounds. An indentation can be seen on the Krogoth's chest plate as it took a 46cm shell nearly at point blank to its chest, the shell only just penetrated the three foot thick armour which decelerated the shell so much that it harmlessly pinged off the armoured Crusader chamber in its chest but it exploded within the machine.
The Krogoth is fitted with an array of weapons that make it a perfect all purpose assault unit.
1. Multi-Calibre Gattling Gun. Weapon has gun barrels designed to accept different calibres. It can fire, 5mm, 50cal, 55cal and 60cal ammunition.
2. Advanced Magical Railguns. The ultimate in magical weaponry. The railguns fire pure concentrated beams of magic that can overwhelm anything but the drain in power may leave the Krogoth defenseless for a short period of time.
3. Missile Pods. On the ends of both Railgun pontoons are two large missile pods. These pods hold a total of eighteen missiles each giving the Krogoth a total of thirty six that can be fired all at once. Originally designed for anti-air but re-purposed for ground and air.
4. Weapons Platform. The weapons platform is an interchangeable weapon system. It can be given a selected number of weapons to which it can change into and use. So far the platform only has two weapons, a Disc-Grenade Launcher, firing disc shaped grenades that can bounce over cover and a AA Railgun that is five percent of the power of the ADV Railguns but it makes up for its lack of power by its rate of fire and accuracy.
5. Artillery Cannons. After its attack on Fort Battalion the machine took its artillery emplacement so now the Krogoth has two 46cm artillery cannons. These long range cannons can fire shells up to a distance of twenty eight miles and can punch holes through armour plate two feet thick.
When the Krogoth left the Hangar it's knee joints were exposed but after its confrontation with a Slaver who had a Fatpony (Balefire Egg Launcher) it realised its knees could easily get crippled if it wasn't careful. Krogoth went back to the wreckage of Raptor Atlas and assimilated its armour plating to form knee guards to protect its knee joints as well as fashion a tail guard as the base of its tail was also unprotected. As part of the Krogoth's programming it was to better itself if it felt there were things that could be improved upon.
The Krogoth has been seen by some to be invincible but as many was say, nothing is invincible. The Krogoth like anything else can be destroyed, Appletart and her friends know of how they can destroy it. Destroying it isn't the hard part. Its getting inside it that'll be the hard part. Appletart and her friends have seen the machine's Stable-Tec issued Spark Reactor (a reactor meant to power a Stable) as its weakness. If they can get the reactor to overload it will explode with the force of the largest megaspell/balefire bomb recorded and destroy the Krogoth from the inside out. To do that though, they will need to get inside.

I ain't got the skills / motivation to do something like that myself. I can't see why you'd be upset though, it doesn't affect the true picture.

Well in this case no-one was trying to steal your art in any way. The intention was only ever parody after someone mentioned it could use more rockets.
It started with two more, then four, then twelve, then what we have in this.
Parody is parody and isn't meant to be hurtful. If it happened to me, I'd just be glad people could find something funny in my stuff at the end of the day.
