I've been trying something new. Namely, forcing myself to write at least 500 words every single day, no matter what. It may not seem like much, but it should enable me to write at an average speed of a chapter per week, which would be nice for consistency. I've been at it for four days and it seems to be working well.
It's beter than trying to write 3,000 words all at once every six to seven days, at least.
Huh... That... Is actually a good idea.
Might have to try that...

I just keep expecting you to somehow commence an internet coup and take over fimfiction to turn it into a fascist website were every single featured story belongs to you and we all have to like and favorite every single one of your works...
I even figured I might as well start working on a way to formally greet you, I came up with this:

I tried the 500 words a day for a while, but sometimes I wrote two thousand. Other times I wrote ten words. Finally, I gave up on weekly updates and I just write when inspiration hits me. Still, I hope it works out for you!

For me, its not so much about inspiration as it is not letting a million other things distract me from writing.
Hu... I think this is a BRILLIANT idea. I shall steal it for myself I think.
Maybe then I can actually get my own writing somewhere. I think I'll begin this Saturday. AFTER applications and other projects are due.

I try to do that, but people keep distracting me. Even if I don't have Skype up, I can't seem to work. Dogs barking, cars driving by, TV on downstairs. Anything. And I can't block it out with music through headphones (speakers just do the same thing as other noise) because my computers sound won't work cuz it it in safe mode.
Shit, 500 a day I could have about a chapter per week to 5 per month. I should REALLY start working.
I tried this goal, and I failed horribly.
That's what happens when you set something as your New Year Resolution.
