Almost all reviews/comments for my Mass Effect/40k story have one thing in common. They wanted the Inquisitor to live.
Now, that was the original plan, but as I plotted out the story, I came across two problems. One; too many characters, and two; Character redundancy. The first problem is easy enough to explain. Mass Effect already has a ton of characters, and I'm just adding more.
Hello everybody. Got a few things to say here, so bear with me. If that sounds ominous, let me reassure everyone that I am not leaving Fimfiction anytime soon.
I agree, the new layout is okay but there was really no need for it. I mean don't get me wrong I love some of the features, but I'm paranoid that they might pull a You Tube on us They would never do that right?.
922631 Yeah, the notifications for your own comments is silly, but that's just one of a few bugs I've noticed. I'm sure they'll sort it out soon.
Overall, I do like the new layout - at least more than I liked the last time they changed it. I'm still learning to use everything, but overall I think it works better.
Hey, I heard Knighty wanted to introduce virtual bookmarks for long chapters. Has anyone seen this?
I liked it until I had to figure out the new notifications system. It is a bit cumbersome compared to the old one. There are a lot of nice improvements though, so overall, positive changes.
When I logged in today and saw the changes, I was wtf is this? I generally use my phone for this more than a laptop or desktop, so it is doubly confusing. The old layout was so much more 'user-friendly' in my opinion again, " if it ain't broke, don't bking fix it!!!"
Something I find aggravating is that they fixed what ain't broke, and didn't fix what is broke. Namely, something I've been bugging knightly for a while about. epub downloads don't seem to work. I either get an error message saying it isn't formatted correctly, or when it does open, almost all of them have at least one chapter that just cuts off in the middle of it.
923602 iPhone, actually, but even then, (though I don't know what the horizontal rule is,) when I download it and open it on the computer, the most that's fixed is the format problem. And even Even then, those stories still have the cutoff problem.
Yeah that's my general feeling too. It's not bad, but i didn't have a problem with the old one so i'm not sure why they changed it

Reminds me a bit of how they rearrange everything in the grocery store every month, 'cept more annoying.
I kinda like the new layout...

It'll take some getting used to, that's for sure. All the controls aren't where I left them...
True that. I liked it before this
Aesthetically pleasing, it is.
Necessary, it is not.
I didn't want a change and now we've got to find out where all of the new controls are.

I agree, while it is asthetically pleasing, it isn't practical.

I'm guessing you use a nook? Mine seems to have a problem with the Horizontal Rule tag.

Does anyone know how to see Most Popluar stories and Popular Story updates? Because that's how I discover new stories.
