Hey guys! Shadow here, and I want to give a little backstory, as well as talk about pony hypnotism.
Ever since I played Pokemon Red, I've been obsessed with hypnotism or controlling others. In fact, my main pokemon back then was Hypno. When I started watching MLP, my fifth episode to watch was 'the return of harmony, part one'. Discord was really the character that drew me into the series.
Now, around three months ago, when I was just starting out as a brony, I found this thing called 'Pony Hypnotism while surfing youtube. It looked cool, as I had been trying to imagine what it was like to be a pony, as I wrote book three of the Darkfire Universe series, which the first one is already started being typed up.
I pulled it up, and chose the 'pony ears' audio file first. After a few times of playing the hypnosis, I could really feel as if I had pony ears! I looked at the other audio files, and saw several mlp characters. However, I didn't want to become a 'girly' pony, so that ended up giving me two options: Applejack and Rainbow Dash, the least 'girliest' female characters in the show.
Applejack did not have the 'induction' segment of the audio file done yet, so I picked Rainbow Dash. As it was my first try, and I was somewhat skeptical, not many things happened. However, I did feel the ears again, as well as the tail, muzzle, and hooves. However, I had no mental changes, and the only effects after I snapped out of the trance were me seeing my hands and feet as hooves for about three minutes, and I couldn't stand up on two legs for about ten minutes.
I didn't feel pleased with the minor results, and left that on the bookmarks bar. 3 weeks ago, I saw it and opened it up on a new tab. This time, I had become more into the show, and decided to try another pony, as AJ still hadn't been updated. I chose my favorite pony, Twilight Sparkle. I set up a playlist with one induction and thirty loops, and went to bed.
When I woke up, I looked down and saw myself as Twilight Sparkle. I knew I was a hypnotic construct, as Twilight's brain called it, but I also knew I was Twilight. I had set a goal for myself as Twilight, as some people suggested. I was to read a 'Hardy Boys' book. Using superior reading skills, I did that, then proceeded to try to write how it felt. It was hard with hooves, so I used my mouth. Around the time I finished, I started to feel it fading.
I snapped out of it, and found myself on my hands and knees on the floor with a pencil in my mouth. I still got effects even after I snapped out of it, such as doing the breathing exercise that Twilight does on Games Ponies Play whenever I get frustrated, getting VERY angry when I couldn't explain something through science, or being extremely curious.
I actually have the paper beside me as I type this. I still do the hypnosis, but now I can bring it on myself by uttering the words, 'I am a smart pony.' I can turn it off by saying, as Twilight, 'Revert to normal.' I still use the audio file every other night. I basically only use the 'Twilight' form when I am with bronies, or when I need to think a lot.
I also use hypnosis with a custom audio file that a brony friend of mine created for one of my superheroes, Darkwing, a pegasus 'shadowmancer'. I use it for my new series that I am currently writing. When I need to express the character in a certain situation, I just think about what I would do when under hypnosis.
Overall, I would recommend this technique. All writers should use a custom script to connect with their character.
Hey, Darkfire here! Shadow asked me to write a review for the Pony hypnosis he suggested that I do. I chose Twilight, just like Shadow did. Only a few things happened. My mind changed, becoming curious about everything. The morphing worked like Shadow's did at first. but I could also feel the horn. Overall, I am intrigued. I might do more eventually, but for now... wait a second! I'm looking at the Pony Hypnosis page, and I just saw Vinyl Scratch! I need to go try it! See you all later!

Very interesting.
The effects of hypnosis on me were nowhere near as prominent, but perhaps that's because I am too involved with scriptwriting. I'm fascinated by how you say it changed your way of thinking to be like that of Twilight's.
If you could, could you please help with me out a little. I can assume you had binaural beats playing while you listened, correct?

3. Only the command words, and 'wake up, little pony.' I have a custom audio a friend made out of the audio files that has the wake up little pony line at the end. I do know the script by reading it though.
4. For some reason, the wake up line makes my heart beat fastdr than it does when i wake up from a normal sleep, but that might also be part of feeling like twilight.
5.I listened to it once before I started, and I believe it was the relaxing that the recording focused on.

I would like to add that I tried magic in he Twilight state. It dosen't work. Also, when being Twi, as I have begun to call that form, I lose most memories of being human, but know that something is not natural. However, I keep my social memories, and know i am in a tv show. I also retain all memories from the experiences of Twi after the ending command words, but lose Twi's actual memories. Darkfire has also achieved this stafe now, but while awake instead of asleep, so his answers might be more revealing. His twin brother is also trying it, and added a link on a site so people can see this post. I will have Darkfire post his findings in a new blog.
