Well everypony has a darkside to them, something you'd rather not let anyone know right.
Appletart has a darkness, its a darkness that has festered for 16 years since she witnessed the destruction of her entire Stable and everypony she ever knew.
She has a deep dark hatred for Raiders, a hatred that makes her easy to anger and when she's really pissed off. This happens.
