    Update 8/17

Hello everyone! Just a quick note to let you know what's going on with me. Real Life has been a hectic blur for me as of late. Last week my car died, which put me in a bit of a squeeze until I finally got my new one, and this weekend will be occupied with me helping out my parents with their garage sale (and not going to Everfree NW, although with how tight my money situation is now after buying

    Lookie! Another update! (8/4)

Hello everyone! Just another quick note to assure all of you that I'm not dead or anything. Indeed, the rough draft of chapter 14 of 'Phases' is finished, and the slow work of polishing it up has begun, so hopefully I'll be able to have it up for you in a couple of days or so. As always, Real Life (and Olympics watching) is what is keeping it from being done right away, so I thank you for

    Phases update and Omake!

Hello everyone! Two things today for me to talk about. First off, currently awaiting the submission process so not up on the site as I write this but hopefully soon, I've embraced my silly side and wrote an omake for Phases of the Moon. Titled appropriately enough as 'Omake of the Moon', it's a kind of a 'what if' story about how the story might have gone if a different character showed up at a

    Phases: Chapter 12 is up!

Title just about sums it all up. Thanks again to my pre-reader Heatwave for catching all those silly errors I missed, and to all of you for your continued interest.

    7/16 Update

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the rough draft of the next chapter of 'Phases of the Moon' has been completed. All that stands between me and my pre-reader Heatwave from making it readable are the twin evils of 'Work' and "Real Life'. But worry not, for while those twin terrors may be able to delay us, it will be for a few days at the most, and in the end we WILL emerge

Yes, I am still alive · 10:11pm Mar 6th, 2012

Just a quick update to let everyone know what's going on, and why I haven't posted anything recently. While, as the post entry states, I am still alive (cue Portal ending theme), I am not healthy. On a Dungeons and Dragons scale, where zero equals dead, ten is average for a person and anything above that is great, I probably have a constitution score of 6-7. So when I get sick, my body tends to take a long time shrugging things off. The last couple of weeks, I have been well enough to go to work, but when I get home, I am drained. I'll surf the internet for a bit, post a comment or two here and there, and then go to bed. I've tried opening up the file for the latest chapter of Phases of the Moon, but I'm lucky if I have the motivation to write more than a sentence or two. Which really sucks because I know how most of it is going to go, I just need to write it down. Sigh. On the bright side, I'm not in the hospital (pardon me while I knock on wood), and I am taking care of myself. So, hopefully, I'll either kick this thing soon, or it will get bad enough that work will be okay with me missing time off to go see a doctor and get some prescriptions.

For those utterly desperate to read something new by me, um, well, there is the my entry for the February Write-Off for you to peruse, 'On a Razor's Edge'. Written in half of the time of most of the other entries due to my schedule not lining up well with the writing period, I'm still moderately pleased with the final result. Most likely there are still numerous errors in it, since I didn't have time to send it to my pre-reader, and the plot itself would have benefited from having the three extra days I missed out on to polish it up. Still, if I may be allowed a moment of being boastful, I think it's a better story than most of the entries (at least, compared to the ones I looked at when judging). So, feel free to give a look through if you want. I'm especially proud of the "monster" I came up with, the Razorback.

And here I said this would be a quick update. Yeesh. Okay, enough tossing my thoughts at the computer; time for me to get ready for work.

You should eat raw garlic marinated in unpasturized honey while drinking ginseng tea spiked with cinnamon and taking a bath in apple cider vinnegar in a turkish bathhouse while getting slapped on the shoulder by a sumo wrestler.

The Razorback. Why, oh why must every idea I try to come up with be beaten to the punch by someone who can think faster than me... Oh well. XD

Sick is no fun :pinkiesick: :fluttershysad:
Hope you feel better soon

That treatment works wonders, though I found you have to get good at timing swallows with a sumo wrestler smacking you. :pinkiehappy:
