Hello to all my followers, which is currently 235 of you guys! Man, I never thought I'd get this popular when I was starting out. Anywho, you may have noticed that it's been a while since I published the latest segment of Dusk and Dawn, or anything, for that matter. So I'll take a moment to assure you that I am, in fact, still alive, and that I have started writing the next chapter of Harmony a couple weeks ago. Yes, you read that right. I've only just started. Blame Borderlands 2. The next chapter shall be called "Two-Faced", and it'll feature Eclipse taking down and capturing Rainbow Dash with the assistance of a certain traitor. While in captivity, Rainbow becomes a victim to some of Eclipse's... probing. For science. That monster. (Gutter test: what kind of probing are you thinking of?)
While I'm making a blog post, I might as well address an issue with the last chapter that some of you have noticed: Fluttershy. Let me put it like this: at first, my best poni list went in this order: Twilight, Rainbow, Pinkie, Rarity, large gap here, Applejack, Fluttershy. The latter two, I felt were boring as characters. So Applejack is the down-to-earth farmer. Okay. Yawn. Fluttershy was even worse to me. Ooh, the little girl without a backbone in her body has moments of unexpected, extreme assertiveness and can STARE. OOOHHH! Yeah.
And then I wrote Dusk and Dawn. Suddenly, Applejack's quality of character became apparent to me. Because she's so down-to-earth, she's the perfect pony to buckle down and take charge in a crisis, which the story allowed her to do perfectly. She rather quickly rocketed up my best poni list. However, as I wrote "Savagery", no similar revelation came to for Fluttershy. She's still a boring shrinking violet with a "angry mother" switch to me. As such, I completely failed to keep her canon personality intact in Savagery, instead swapping it for a one that regularly used violence and fear to subjugate her enemies.
I'll admit, while I still find her boring, I'll spend the rest Harmony rectifying my mistake. I've planned out a few events and insights in an attempt to bring her back to her canon roots. You'll see her spending less time attacking her enemies head on and more time supporting her allies like she should be. I will not, however, apologize for giving her Beast Boy's powers. She's freaking awesome like that, especially in a fantasy world like this.

Probing hun? That sort of comment can be taken out of context pretty readily.
Are you keeping with your previously established plot in that Eclipse hates what she has to do and actually attempts to help the rebellion passively? I can understand her capturing RD, maybe performing some tests on the Element, but any sort of violent interrogation would almost definitely eliminate any possibility of redemption, though maybe that's the plan.
It's like an itch I can't scratch! I liked the Dusk and Dawn set up so much, However, I can't handle reading incomplete stories. Not anyone's fault just a pet peeve of mine, I am patient and will wait for the completed story.
looking forward to when you do release the next chapter! i can understand that borderlands 2 is taking up quite a bit of time, it didn't manage to stick to me though, but i can relate on the time issue with another game, i recently started playing "might and magic: heroes 6", and boy does the time disappear quickly when playing.

I'm taking probing as asking questions. Because anything else would involve me actually thinking it out too much. I'll just calmly be waiting for the next chapter.
Just glad to know that Harmony is alive. Don't mind the wait, especially if the overall quality stands up there with the first chapter.
You could kill her off in some epic story development ,I personally like her but if she doesn't work for the story then maybe her death would

I agree with your Applejack logic and do not mind what you did with Fluttershy she just to cool as Beast Shy.

I wish I could say "Two-Faced" is nearly done, but that would be a lie. I'm hardly a quarter in. In retrospect, downloading Skyrim and expecting I'd have free time leftover was a mistake.

1441582 so dusk and dawn harmony hasnt been updated since the 5th of june 2 years ago is this story dead or just taking a forever long time to update?
I would do it even if you hadn't allowed us to do it.

It has been a long time since any updates. If you have no plan to continue your story please do us a favor and cancel it. If you don't , plan to cancel this give us another update regarding your progress.
