Text-Based adventure games · 8:32am Jan 30th, 2013
Seeing as I'm getting a hard time finding collaborators for my projects (artists mainly, writers and programmers tend to get along in my experience). I'm going to have a bit of fun converting some of my fictions into text-based adventure games.
Just to get use to creating visual novel-eque games without an artist to bug me with their absence of work.
The stories I will be doing will be the ones from my War for Equestria series. Starting with Day of coronation and Charity.
How "Text-based" do you want to present it? I'd be interested in helping on such a project.

the point of this genre is that I don't need help for it.
996309 Aha! but I am a programmer, well-versed in many different languages, not an artist.

if that's the case then why not take a look at this community.

pretty sure lotsa people will be wanting some help. Usually I'd jump at the chance to collab. But I'm practicing my writing right now before I errr... get back on the horse.

I'll send you a completed script for a text-based adventure game when I'm ready.
That way theres no waiting around for you and you can just crack on.
Just as well that you're a programmer. I tried using quest for making games. But its core inferface is so limiting on what kinda immersion the player can do.
Plus seeing as its the only text-based adventure game making programme there is on the net. this project had gotten a bit stuck.
I'll see ya on mlgd
