Will be stepping back into these space shoes very soon

Had some major delays, mostly related to life. I've determined that guitar is my instrument, so there goes fifteen to thirty minutes of my day right there. (As well as a good part of my money, as I have Guitar Acquisition Syndrome.)

    Stargazing (Pt. 1)

So tonight I felt like stargazing. Astronomy had always been something of an interest of mine, but I've just begun to be mature enough for actual backyard astronomy instead of sitting in a chair, staring at a screen and oohing and awing at how beautiful the universe is with color enhanced images from Hubble.

Here's how I'm seeing my current stories, for those that are interested:
Troubled New Home/Trouble with Time Travel: I plan to work on this soon. Problem is that this story was a product of me on SB, and I'm not keen on going back now that I've spent time away from it, got some perspective and realized that I was spending too much time on something I wasn't finding fun anymore. I might go back, update the thread, etc., just for the sake of getting feedback and such, but I'm burned out on that site.

Twilight Sparkle, Planeswalker: I need to draft things out so that it's not just a rewrite, so that I have a consistent plot that I see all the way through.

Twilight Sparkle: HEROINE OF THE IMPERIUM: Far back burner. I used to love Warhammer when I was 18-21. Now I'm 23, and wanting something with hope shining through.

By One's Own Merit: I've got two chapters in the hopper right now, so that'll be another two to four weeks by my current estimates.

Other possible stories:
Untitled Iron Kingdoms Crossover: Elements of that are already at work in Troubled New Home, but it might be a lot of fun. Especially with Cryx being the Nightmare Empire, generically Scottish/Native American Trollkin riding around of buffalo, etc.

Untitled MLP:FiM/LotR Crossover: Would be a ton of fun, but after I get done reading The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Simarillion, plus whatever other letters and works count as part of the cannon for Middle Earth.

Untitled MLP:FiM/EVE Online Crossover: A man can dream, can't he?

Untitled MLP:FiM/Fallout Crossover: I'd have to do more research for the whole 'Pony in the Wasteland' thing, but seeing as Twilight Sparkle is a favorite of mine it can be doable. Real trick would be deciding between the Capitol Wastelands, the Mohave Wastes and my own version of the mythical Texas Wasteland that I started with another story that I did not finish on SB.com.

Untitled MLP:FiM/Pathfinder Crossover: Not sure how I would do that, since I would make the ponies humans for this one like last time.

Possible Non-Pony Stories:
Fallout: Texas: Apparently my first go at it was deserving of a mod. Plot things out, elaborate on setting, so on and so forth. 3 vaults, a secret vault, four nations, radioactive tornado and zombies riding undead horses and giant Mexican freetail bats.

Original Fantasy Fiction Setting: I'd like to live the dream, but living the dream means no more fan fiction. At least here I'm writing every day, and since I'm writing every day, I'm getting better every day.

Ironically, I find Ciaphas Cain to be one of the most hope-inspiring Warhammer 40k characters... well, ever.

Still, looking forward to planestrotters.

Well, it helps that I'm sorting out my Innestrad block cards out right now. My store has Pauper Monday, "Merciless" Tuesday (my store gives out mercy packs, thus a $5 entry fee as a pack for participating and half a pack for prize support), Draft Wedness, Block Thursday, FMN Standard & Modern w/Draft side event, plus whatever goes on during the weekends.

Assuming family health gets better, I might be able to get just enough points to get a bye or two at Grand Prix Houston (assuming I can go).

So I will be working on it. It's just not a spur of the moment type project.

Here's a suggestion:
Warmachine: Harmonization
It might work as a title
