Second episode of season three I've seen so far after the first rather disappointing episode of the Crystal Empire series. I don't know, I guess I'm just not as interested in this series as I used to be. Anyway, I have to say this episode was amazing and I'm so glad they decided to bring Discord back.
Discord's sarcasm was hilarious and I think he's just as great as he was in The Return of Harmony. He' still very much like Q, and all the chaos he caused was awesome. I loved how he turned in the end, though he still retains pretty much the same character. I don't know where they're going to take him from here, but if he actually becomes a recurring character on the show I might start watching it again.
Really I don't think there was anything bad in this episode, Discord just made it perfect.
I actually liked the Crystal Empire saga... I have no clue why, but I enjoyed it. And I deeply agree, this episode was great (it helps that I'm a Fluttershy Guy
). The worst episode of the season, to me at least, seems to be Spike at your Service. I just... I didn't like it.
Seeing Discord again was great, so I hope he becomes a recurring character.
I'm gonna cry for Luna if Discord gets more Screen time than her now.
Truth be told the ONLY thing I was disturbed about the episode was willingness of Twilight to "brainwash" Discord as an option. WHAT????? That is neither friendly, nor what Celestia asked! Still this was resolved bu Discord simply eating the spells mentioned, but did make me question Twilight's methods, at least.The Gravy Boat is best new character as well (Look on the credits, Tabitha did the voice of it! ;p)
I'd love for Discord to be included in the background during some episodes. That's the only way I really see him as appearing in the future. What else is there for the embodiment of chaos to do but terrorize the townsfolk behind the Mane Six's back?
Well, this makes me curious how you can still write ponies if you DON'T watch the series to give you newer ideas or motivation to write your current ones that're still incomplete, generally. Even though that's not the only way to get some: all the pics, videos, games, etc.
Otherwise, not much I can comment on, since you didn't have much to say, even if I have to say kinda neutral to Discord now, at least. Thanks to your series and other stuff I've read with the Spirit of Chaos, but also I suppose the way the series 'reformed' him, even if I don't much like it.

I don't know, to me the new episodes just don't seem that original or interesting. I just sort of find inspiration on my own.
And yeah, I felt his reformation was a little rushed. Had they done a two parter I think it could have been better, though I still enjoyed the episode. I'm really hoping that they do more with Discord.
