Next chapter of Alarm Clock is pending revisions and should be uploaded this week. It will mark a distinct turning point for the story: the chapter where I finally start advancing more plot points than I introduce.

I've been hanging a lot of guns above the mantlepiece. While I intend to fire every single one of them, I fear I may end up shooting my own foot in the process. By publishing these chapters as I finish them, I'm encouraging people to read them at that same rate. Which is as good as encouraging people to forget about background details from early chapters. Pfft, like Ditzy's replacement cloud bed could ever become important, am I right?
