Random crew member #1: "SIR! Incoming news, sir!"
Captain Cheezecakes: "What is it, young one? What is the trouble?"
Random crew member #1: "But sir... I'm actually a year older than you are."
Captain Cheezecakes: "Very well. What is it, Random crew member #1?"
Random crew member #1: "Sir! A terrible fate has befallen the sacred lands of FiM! Reports speak of a hideous monstrosity lurking in its forests under the codename ‘Maretrix Unleashed’. It is getting stronger as we speak, and worse still, further analysis show that a horrific, upgraded version is in the progress!
Captain Cheezecakes: “By the gods... this is grave news indeed. I must inform the other units at once!”
*Pssst*
Captain Cheezecakes: “Calling all units, this is Captain Cheezecakes speaking. We have an emergency. It’s a code red threat on the lands of FiM. I repeat, code red! And as fellow cheezers, it is our duty to protect the integrity and pureness of FiM with our lives! Ready your cheese cannons and prepare for battle!”
Alpha 1: “Roger that, Captain.
Alpha 2: “Roger.”
Alpha 3: “Roger. But Captain, how can you say that the lands of FiM remain pure when mutated clop beasts and horned gore demons ravage every square mile of its woods?
Captain Cheezecakes: “Enough! How dare you question the greatness of FiM? You should be using this precious time to preparing on your ship for battle!”
Alpha 3: “Yes sir!”
Captain Cheezecakes: “Wait... where is Alpha 4? Alpha 4, do you copy my message?”
Alpha 4: “...”
Captain Cheezecakes: “ALPHA 4!”
Alpha 2: “I think he’s using the communications network to download the latest episode of My Little Pony, sir. I heard him talking about it yesterday.”
Captain Cheezecakes: “God dammit! I want a unit to go down there and pass him the message at once.”
Alpha 2: “I’ll do it, sir.”
Captain Cheezecakes: “Very well. Good luck with the preparations, men. Captain Cheezecakes out."
*Pssst*
Random crew member #1: “We are nearly done with charging the ships cannons. All systems are in operation. We are ready to move, Captain.”
Captain Cheezecakes: “Excellent.”
Random crew member #1: “Sir, if I may ask, do you truly believe that we would survive this battle?”
Captain Cheezecakes: “Only time will tell, young one... only time will tell.”

Now, that was a pretty fun way to announce a new story. Chapter 2 should be out shortly. As for Draconequus, it kind of ground to a stop for the moment, but I’ll get back to it soon on or later.
