"So, you've been gone a while..."

It's true! I have been gone for a long while... And I apologize for that! I had a time where I was pretty busy and, honestly, just lost inspiration to really do any writing. After my story, A Cherished Storm, got denied by Equestria Daily, I kinda lost any willingness to really write. I know, that's kinda sad... But I'm out of it now, promise!

As some of you may have noticed, A Cherished Storm is no longer available. The reason for this is that I did go back and look at the writing, and I feel that I could have done so much better. Now, why would I take the story down just because it needed some major editing? Well, I rethought the story in my mind, and I didn't like some of the things I did... So, as of right now, the story is going through some changes that will not only lead to a much more interesting plot, but also include the updates to the world and story of the show itself.

I've already decided that A Cherished Storm and any of it's sequels (yes, sequels... It's a planned trilogy) will not take directly from the show after season 3, unless it makes sense to do so. I have a couple more projects in mind before I revisit that story, but don't worry! It's not dead.

Also, one more thing on releasing longer stories. I've decided that it would be best if I have a majority of the story planned out and written before I start releasing.. so there is no lengthy wait times in between releases. It's something I originally wanted to do with A Cherished Storm, but was too impatient to wait.

So, to sum things up: I will try to release more stories soon! And I'm not going to worry about pleasing EqD pre-readers this time around. I'm still going to go for a feature on there.. But if it doesn't make the cut, oh well. As long as my readers are happy, then I'm happy. :)

OH YEAH!

To celebrate the new year, and Christmas a week ago, I released a new story: One Hearth's Warming Eve. It's based on the song of the same title by Aviators, and is officially my first one-shot fanfic!

Also, there is one more one-shot coming that I've been working on for quite some time called Never Stop Smiling. I'm well aware that there is already a fanfic named that, and is about the same picture. But I began this before the first one was even released, so I decided to just keep at it. It won't be very long. I've just scrapped it numerous times in an attempt to be happy with it. I think it's finally to a point now where I can say I'm as happy as I'll ever be with it. It's a first person fanfic, too... So I don't expect it to be the best (I'm horrible at first person perspective).
