    The State of Affairs

Yikes. It's been a while, hasn't it? I hate these blogs, but I kinda feel guilty when I don't say anything, so please bear with me.

Rant time! Show vs. Tell: Why You Know People who are Doing it Terribly Wrong

It’s always depressing to see people give bad advice. It’s even more depressing to see people eat that bad advice up and say things like, 'This is really good and totally right!' Now, I don’t like starting arguments on the Internet, so I normally just shake my head and look the other way. But this is something I have seen more than a couple of times from people who have a greater audience than

    New Chapter and Related Apologies

New chapter is up! Twilight and Celestia are getting closer to the dragon kingdom now, but they still have a little something to go through before they get there. That little something may or may not include living, giant stone statues.

    Honest Words

She holds my hand with all the strength she has left, a bony grasp that shakes like a frightened child. I can hear her breathing, wet and rasping as if her lungs are filled with fluid—until I realise that they probably are. The oxygen machine next to me hisses, and I can hear shrill beeps from the other side of the bed. One and a half every second, a laughable imitation of a heartbeat. To me it

It's Finally Here... · 4:42am Dec 30th, 2012

As the Sun Sets
by Mystic

When Twilight is given the opportunity to travel with Princess Celestia on what appears to be a regular dignitary’s trip to see the dragons, she’s ecstatic. After all, nopony has seen the dragon kingdom in over a hundred years.

But they are not alone on the journey; there are rumours being carried on the wind, hushed whispers of something stirring in the east...

Their presence reignites an ancient chain of events that will see Twilight racing for help in the darkest places on earth and the princess struggling to reconcile her role in the world, surrounded on all sides by enemies she thought defeated millennia ago.

The clock is ticking. Time is running out, and the sun has already begun to set...

(An epic fantasy adventure and a pseudo sequel to The Sun Whispers Your Name. It’s not at all required reading; it just expands upon world-building.)

It's finally here, and it looks magnificent. Be sure to check out xX-Mr-No-Name-Xx's profile and tell him just how fantastic it looks!

My friends, we're about to embark on an epic adventure, and I hope you come along for the ride. It's going to be something else.

Expect it soon.

Let there be awsome!

I dunno, man... over Christmas, I watched a few episodes of K-9 during its US premier, and it sort of destroyed any goodwill I may have felt towards Australia and its inhabitants. I mean, I'm not even a Dr. Who fan, and that made me sad.

But I guess I could bear to risk one more "epic adventure" from the land down under. Looking forward to it!

Whaat. Let this notification just appear after the last word of one of my most favorite albums.. WHATEVER!
Saaaadly, and I mean it, I can't effort to read it until we write 2013 into our books. :pinkiesick:
Not that I really really can't read it until then, it's just a damn deadline which I set to myself of finishing a story. I'll just work with rainboom-speed and read it tomorrow, right? Most likely not.
This will be epic by all means!

Oh chills~ chills~ IT'S GOINGTO BE SO GOOD! I mean! Just look at that cover art!

661897 It took me way too long to realise that K-9 is a Dr. Who thing, even though you mentioned Dr. Who in the same paragraph.

But then again... it's Dr. Who; expecting to walk away with a good feeling is like walking into a water park expecting to stay dry.

Regardless, there is a sprawling epic here that I am very keen to start releasing, so hopefully you enjoy it!

I am going to be honest.

I actually, truly squealed when I got done reading the description.

Is that weird?

665082 It was totally a squeal of despair, wasn't it? D:

(Idon'tevenknow. I should be in bed, haha)
Haha, still, it should be a fun ride. I'm really looking forward to sharing it!
