For now the fires have been put out and the bodies laid to rest but, the future remains uncertain in this new regime.

Some hold tight the names they carried before the sun was stolen away, others have taken the chance to reinvent themselves completely. It’s a slim chance anypony remembers who you were before the Fall of Night.

This makes your job as a royal census taker quite difficult, especially since your predecessor’s records were, unfortunately, completely lost in the conversion of Canterlot Castle from capitol to penitentiary.

In any case, what better place to start than the crossroads of this new Equestria, a growing district just outside the Old Everfree and New Castle of the Night: Ponyville.

Twilight Sparkle and her closest friends have been tasked with planning the class senior trip over spring break. They are going on a cruise! Twilight happily took the lead to plan most of the activities and accommodations, but additional input is always welcomed. This is the last meeting before the vacation begins!

Apple Blooms misses her parents so much. But one day she was requested by a fairy guard and she gets her wish.

A vast expanse, often covered in snow, freezing for most of the year, and what little life there is often hides away from the weather where it can. How did Thorax survive that? A changeling, battered and weak, with the closest source of sapient love far, far away, is usually a dead changeling, and the tundra is very unforgiving.

Chapters will be published as I finish them and give them an editing pass or two. I'll try to get at least one a week, but I can't make any promises.

Timeline stretches from shortly after the end of the Changeling Invasion of Canterlot to when Spike discovers Thorax, with maybe an epilogue as a closer. Again, no promises on that last bit.

Note: The prologue is filled with scientific jargon. It should be readable to most, though it might not be the easiest to go through, so I have a summary in the author's note at the bottom just in case. Later parts have narration more befitting Thorax.

Hearing about there being fans of Southern coooking, Applejack decides that maybe she should throw her hat into the ring on it. She calls o som,e of her extended family to help as well.

Thus is the Apple Alliance Abode born. Ane for a tiume everything goes fine for a while.

Minty Moonshine loves eating. She also hates paying. With various disguises, she's taken the Canterlot restaurant scene by storm, racking up bills in the hundreds of Bits, before slipping out via any means possible. After one meal too many, the Canterlot High Dining Society, led by the stern 'Don' Risotto, takes the most drastic option.

Deep in the White Tail Woods, a witch is about to get a knock on the door, and given an offer she cannot refuse: give Minty her just desserts.
