Being thrust into a familiar-yet-distinctly-different Equestria after expecting to spend the rest of eternity in Limbo was definitely a shock to Somnambula. Still, she adjusted fairly well, she thinks. She's got a town that reveres her, and she's a motivational speaker that has helped countless ponies. All in all, things are going well.

She also found a strange "human" thing wandering around and quickly became smitten.

As it would turn out, she might need saving instead...

This starts out as a comedy, but then transforms into an adventure. It would be slice of life, but the pyramids in Southern Equestria could be on the very edge of the region itself.

Before the Elements of Harmony, before the Royal sisters, before the Pillars of magic, Somnambula was just a beekeeper's daughter. A Simple girl who would be courted by a prince, loved by a mare of rare beauty, save her kingdom from war and eventually defy a god. There are many stories about Somnambula, many lost to time, but this will be the first time her whole story is told in her own words.

Daring Do, after she saves the town of Somnambula is greeted by the ghost of the town's namesake. Somnambula thanks her for her great services to her town and gives her a crown and necklace of shimmering Glopaz.

And life would pour down like water to a well, attempting to drown out their love. For Meadowbrook, she could either stay afloat or drown.

But this time, he's determined to succeed where Caballeron failed, breaking Daring Do's spirit. And he's once again set his sights on the village of Somnambula, where he believes Daring Do will be most vulnerable.

However, Ahuizotl didn't count on Daring Do having help. Now free from limbo, Somnambula has returned to her village, and she'll be darned if some fiend tries to harm it on her watch. Besides, why should Daring Do get to have all the fun?
