When she pulled him out of the apple-bobbing tub, there was no way Princess Luna wouldn't have noticed just how skinny the little colt was. Holding him by the back of his shirt, she saw the way it hung off his frame, and when he hugged her hooves at the end of the night, it was plainly apparent that each rib stuck out like a sore horn. Pipsqueak was such a sweetheart, and such a brave young stallion, but his legs wobbled beneath his tiny body with every step he took.

The Princess of the Night sought a moonlit chat with her first adoring subject, anxious to learn more about his situation.

In the heart of Ponyville lives devoted artist, Inky Doodles. Struggling and striving to get recognition for their artwork, they feel like all their work has been done before. Ponies tire of the same thing, and Inky's work just doesn't seem to have the spark that catches a ponies' attention. Deep in their misery, an incredible opportunity presents itself that just might turn their life around.

Or, at least change it.

She watched them from the waters embrace. Silly ponies doing silly things. Why wasn't she invited?

It’s Sire’s Day, and Misty has the perfect gift in mind for her father Alphabittle: a complete do-over of their prior day out in order to make up for lost time! After all, the unicorns in Bridlewood always say that second time’s the charm, and she’s determined to make sure things go perfectly this time. In order to pull this off, she enlists the help of her friend Zipp Storm to devise a series of mysteries for them to complete throughout the day, all culminating in one grand reward. The only problem? Her friends can’t seem to agree on what sort of activities the duo should participate in, let alone the prize. With only 8 hours on the clock, will Zipp and the gang get their act together and pull off the best day ever? Or is a precious day with family destined to be ruined due to pointless squabbles? It wasn't that Roseluck was struggling in the monetary sense. In fact, given a recent boom at the florist she co-owned with Lily Valley, which included the onboarding of several new shift staff, she suddenly found herself with an excess of free time.

She reasoned that given her aptitude for helping plants to flourish, she could easily apply the same love and care to the pets of her fellow townsfolk. Thus, she opted to advertise part time petsitting services with a note in the window of Quills & Sofas.

Her first letter of reply... was unusual, to put it lightly.
